A Surprise Trip to Wisconsin!

I thought it would be fun to plan a surprise visit to Wisconsin! Terry had a very busy week with work and studying, so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to drive back home for a week long visit. I decided that we wouldn’t tell a single person that we were coming back! (everyone thought the next time we would be home would be Christmas). We surprised Terry’s mom first! She was painting her porch when Terry called her and asked “Did you get the two presents I sent you from Michigan?” Just then Breezy and I drove up the driveway honking our horn! Bev was sooo excited! Breezy was thrilled to see her Grandma Bev and Grandpa Gary! We stayed at their house for a few hours before we drove to Stoughton to surprise my parents. I knew my parents would just be coming off the golf course around the time that we arrived. Unfortunately, my parents were no where to be found! Luckily I was able to get my brother on the phone and he said that they were having a big get-together at his house. Perfect! He only lives a half a mile away from my parents, so I drove straight to his house. My mom then got on the phone and was talking to Breezy (while she was standing in my brother’s driveway). Breezy said, “Amma, I have a surprise for you.” When my mom asked her what the surprise was, Breezy said, “Turn around.” And there we were, standing 20 feet in front of her! Just then all the people outside came around the corner and saw us standing there! It couldn’t have worked out more perfect! Not one person had any idea that we were coming back! Then we surprised my sister the next day at her school! What a fun way to start our week of vacation!

Playing in the leaves with Papa!

Snuggling up next to Luke (I think I may see a future boyfriend here!) -

Having fun with Aunt Lala, Jay and Lexi!

Out for lunch and shopping with Amma and Grandma Bev!

Playdate with Payton-

I was on the phone at Wal-Mart, when Breezy taps me on the leg and says, "Look, Mom!" I turned around and laughed so hard! There she was, in a Hannah Montana hat holding a High School Musical purse! Too funny!

Playing basketball and having fun with Mike, Stacy and Ashli!

We went to breakfast with Terry's side of the family! Then Grandma and Grandpa took Breezy and Pierson over to the new Toyland to buy them a few fun toys!!

A fun trip to the pumpkin patch!

Wisconsin - Michigan Football Game

Today we headed down to Ann Arbor, MI to watch the Wisconsin/Michigan football game. It was definitely a game filled with highs and lows. The high...the entire first half where we were leading 19-0. The low....the entire rest of the game. :( Unfortunately MI had an incredible comeback to beat WI 27-25. Ouch. I have to say, it was very cute to see everyone's reaction to Breezy and her adorable WI cheerleading outfit! Two different sets of MI fans asked if they could take her picture and the fans around us said that she was the only good thing happening in the entire game! (that, of course, was during the first half when we were actually beating them!). Breeze did awesome at the game and never let those MI fans get the best of her! They would always ask her to say "Go Blue!"....and she would reply (with no help from mom or dad), "Go Badgers!!!". So cute! She made fast friends with everyone around us (which was impressive considering that we were the only reds in a sea of blue!). It was sad to see the Badger's lose, but it's hard to be too disappointed when you are able to be a great game on a beautiful football Saturday. :)

Touchdown!!

The three of us at the MI/WI game in Ann Arbor - September 2006. (I was so offended at that game when everyone thought she was a boy....ummm, guess she kinda did look a boy!) At least this time she had a dress on and cute long hair! No mistakes this time!!

At half time when we were actually still smiling! :)

This is what happens when you leave Bucky Badger at your neighbors door before you leave for the game. Poor Bucky had a make-over and was sitting at our front door when we came home! Too funny! :)

Go Badgers! We still love you!

Grey's Anatomy Party!!

For those of you out there that do not watch Grey's Anatomy...you might not truly understand the excitement of this post. In fact, you might look at all the pictures and think that we're a little crazy! BUT...for those of you that DO watch Grey's...I know you understand the excitement of watching the 2 hour premier last night!! We decided that we just had to have a Grey's Anatomy premier party! Acacia, Meretta and Lindsay all came over and brought the most amazing food! We ate a healthy dinner that consisted of mexican dip, bruschetta crackers, chocolate dipped fruit, chocolate covered pretzels and cheesecake! And yes....we even dressed the part! Everyone had on scrubs and personalized medical badges with the character of their choice! A bit excessive...yes...but so much fun! Terry even made it home for the last 20 minutes of the show. Luckily, he was already dressed for the party! haha! I made him wear a Dr. Mark Sloan badge! Unlike many of my friends...I think Dr. McSteamy is way cuter than Dr. McDreamy! :) We had such a fun time and loved every minute of the show!

Fun with the Firetruck!

Our MOMS club had a membership drive today. They had a firetruck and police car parked outside so the kids could get a close look and talk to the firemen and policemen. Breezy thought that this was pretty cool! She had a huge smile on her face when the nice firefighter asked if she wanted to sit up in the truck! You should have seen her face when he helped her blow the loud horn while she was sitting in the drivers seat! Too funny! I was shocked that she even let him lift her up and down from the truck (such a little flirt!!). :) She walked around the truck and asked "What's that??" to every imaginable thing on the firetruck! The firefighter was so nice and explained every little detail to her! Then it was time to try on the firefighting boots and hat! She looked so darn cute standing in the huge boots! And I was very impressed that she was able to hold the heavy helmet on her head! What a little sweetie!

Spicer's Orchard!

On Tuesday we took a field trip with our MOMS group to Spicer's Orchard. What an amazing place! I can't believe I've lived here three years and I've never been there! We all took a hay ride out to the apple orchards. Everyone was allowed to pick one apple from the trees. Breezy had a great time going from tree to tree looking for the "perfect" apple! Once everyone had their apple, we rode back to the main barn where we were served apple cider and cinnamon apple donuts! Y-U-M-M-Y! After our delicious donuts, we took a stroll through the cute little store. We bought a bag of apples, and yes....6 yummy donuts! How could I possible resist?? :) Then we were off to see the animals and play at the playland! Both Breezy and I had a great time and we're very excited that her school is going back there next month for a field trip as well! :)
