Auburn Football Game

We drove up to Alabama last Saturday for the Auburn football game. Dr. Andrew's gave us his tickets for the 13th row on the 40th yard line. It was so much fun to be so close to all the action! It was a four hour drive up there and the game didn't even start until 6:45pm. As soon as we started walking toward our gate it started raining. By the time we went through the gate....it was pouring! And it continued pouring for an entire hour! So of course, the game was delayed for an hour. We finally got to our seats and the game started. It turned out to be such a great game! Breezy had SO much fun! She was cheering so loud and had all the people around us wrapped around her little finger! :) A few minutes before the half, Joe Hubbard came to our seats and gave Mark his field pass so he could go down on the sidelines! (Joe H. and Joe B. are the two fellows that cover all the Auburn games). We had so much fun seeing Mark down on the field! He went in the locker room with the team at half time and he stayed down there until the 4th quarter. We had box seat passes for the 4th quarter, so we went to check it out. We didn't leave until 11:15pm (with a 4 hour drive ahead of us!). Breezy was truly unbelievable through the entire experience! She was so happy and loved every minute of it! Sabeena texted us at half time to tell us that she saw Mark on ESPN! We watched the game on the internet the next day and saw Mark 3 different times! So much fun! :)

Grandma Bev and Grandpa Gary's visit :)

Last week Bev and Gary came down to visit us! We were all so excited to see them! Breezy was so happy to have her grandma and grandpa here! On Wednesday we went to the Blue Angels practice show in Pensacola. It was truly amazing! At the end of the show they gave all the kids (under the age of 13) a flag and let them come beyond the ropes and watch the Blue Angels land and taxi in. Parents were not allowed to go with them so I was shocked when Breezy actually went on her own! It was priceless to see all these kids waving the American flag as the Blue Angels drove slowly in front of them. After the show, the Blue Angels came into the museum to sign autographs. It was a struggle to get close enough for them to sign, but Breezy was able to get all six signatures! Not only was she able to get their autographs, they let her come beyond the ropes to get her picture taken with them! They were all so nice! It was so exciting to be able to meet these men that have such incredible talent!
We had an amazing week that included a concert on the beach, dinner and ice cream on the Boardwalk, shopping and a drive to Destin. We ended the weekend by watching the Badgers win a very close football game! It was so sad to see them go. :( We can't wait for them to visit again (hopefully soon!!) Thanks Bev and Gary for a wonderful week!! :)

(I love that my new camera took such great pictures!! I can't believe I could zoom in close enough to be able to read what was on the plane! I love my new camera!!)
