Living on the beach....and loving it!!!
We've had a very exciting and busy few weeks! We packed up our entire house and moved everything to storage in Wisconsin. Then we loaded up a pull-behind U-Haul and drove down to Florida. My parents were so wonderful and offered to drive Mark's car for us. It was so nice not having to drive for two days straight alone in each of our cars. And of course it was great having their help when we moved our things into the condo! We had a great week while they were here. We went to the beach, went swimming in the pool and hot tub, saw the Blue Angels Air Show and went on a Dolphin Site-seeing Cruise! Breezy has adjusted amazingly well to our new home, and is loving every minute. She especially loves the pool (and asks to go swimming a million times a day)! Mark starts work on Monday and we are going to be very sad to see him go back. :( It has been so wonderful to have him home with us over the last few weeks. We have been informed that this is going to be an extremely busy year for him (especially during football season). However, he is very excited about the opportunity and anxious to start the year. We are all looking forward to many visitors this year!...hint hint... :)
Breezy and Papa playing ball in the hotel room (while daddy works out on the Bowflex!)
Breezy and Amma
1st night at our place

We promised Breeze that we would take her to the beach on our first day. We didn't make it until after dark, but she was still loving it!

The sand here is sooo amazing!
On our way back from the beach, we ran into my parents who were in the pool. We let Breeze dip her feet in. The water was so warm and nice that we decided she could just take her clothes off and go for a dip! She was so exited!

View from our bed!
View from the guest bedroom
Breezy on our new hammock
Found my name on the wall at "Peg Leg Pete's Seafood"!
Sunset walk on the beach

Watching the Blue Angels practice (you can see them practice for free every Tuesday and Wednesday!) We all had a great time....they were amazing!

The Dolphin Cruise

We finally spotted dolphins!
I tried to get a good picture...but this is the only one that turned out.
The jellyfish was easier to take pictures of :)

Off to the beach!
Such a cute couple :)

Ate crabs for the first time at a restaurant called Crabs (original name, eh?) :)
Breezy's bedroom (she loves her new bed!)

She picked out the pillows all by herself and insisted we buy them! Too funny! :)

~ The Emerald Dolphin ~

As many of you know, we are no longer heading to Columbus, Ohio for Fellowship. We will now be moving to Gulf Breeze, Florida. Mark will be working at the Andrew's Institute, home of two of the top world renowned sports medicine orthopedic surgeons. (For those who do not yet know, my husband is going by his middle name....Mark. It has been a slow transition but we are all catching on. I just think of him as Dr. Mark Sloan- McSteamy:) )
This is an amazing opportunity for him and we feel so blessed that this has come our way. We are still planning on moving from Michigan mid-July.
This past week Mark and I flew down to Pensacola, FL to look for houses and tour the facility where he will be working. We had less than two days to meet with Realtors and find a house! The first day we went through 7 or 8 houses and did notfind anything that we totally fell in love with. The second day we took a tour of the Andrew's Institute. Every person we met recommended that for a year we should live on the beach. After viewing many properties, needless to say, we absolutely fell in love with it!! Our realtor sold us as the perfect couple and after making a low-ball offer on a fabulous condo we were able to find something that fell into our price range. We are THRILLED!!!!! Our condo is fully furnished so all we have to take down is our clothes and some toys for Breezy!
We will be living on the 5th floor at the Emerald Dolphin on Pensacola Beach. The condo has a large pool, hot tub, and full workout facility just one floor down. Our condo is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath, with the extra bedroom perfect for a guest suite. We also have an L-shaped balcony that provides a view of both the Gulf of Mexico and the "sound". I am so excited that I can barely stand it! We are all ready to leave tomorrow!!! :)
